We are delighted to share Professor Paul Seedhouse’s introduction to the VEO Europa London Conference on 13 July 2013.
VEO Europa London Conference
Thursday 13th July was a highlight in the VEO Europa project. Our entire VEO Europa project team came together to present at the conference in Europe House, London. The VEO founders, Jon Haines and Paul Miller attended and shared their VEO knowledge with interested attendees, giving individual tutorials about using VEO. In addition, researchers also using VEO in Barcelona and Newcastle shared their projects. The conference opened with a welcome from Daniel Ractliffe, head of outreach at Europe House, followed by Paul Miller and then Professor Paul Seedhouse.
Our grateful thanks go to our project team, visiting teachers, researchers and education technology specialists. Our many attendees included representatives in international education roles, publishing, language learning, teaching and many more. We were delighted to have the opportunity to share our project with so many interested and enthusiastic visitors. Every visitor was presented with one of our key outcomes: the entire training material package and handbook developed from the project. These are freely available from the training resources page for the foreseeable future.
Our special thanks to the team at Europe House for their warm welcome and support before, during and after the event.
Our project still has several months to run: look out for further project results and publications!
