The University of Lapland, located at the Arctic Circle, is the northernmost university in Finland and in the European Union. Faculty of Education is the oldest of the four faculties at UoL, established in 1979. Primary School Teacher Education Program offers high quality pre-service teacher education at the bachelor and master levels with special foci on inclusive education and teacher as a researcher–approach.
