Hopkins (2014) defines Lesson Study as an approach where a pair or small group of teachers work to improve an aspect of teaching which evidence tells them could improve in relation to children’s learning and progress.
VEO can be used interactively in the lesson observation or to self record the lesson for later tagging and discussion. Each teacher in the lesson study can tag the lesson and then compare their findings within the group. Subsequent lessons can then be compared to show progress over time.
